To unlock the app’s immersive video experiences, visitors need to be present at Union Station Kansas City and in areas without seasonal decorations.

As you journey through this iconic Kansas City landmark, the captivating narrative of Union Station’s past unfolds through interactive video reenactments of significant historical events and notable celebrity encounters that have graced the halls over the past century.

Using your camera, you can delve into a unique and personalized exploration of Union Station’s and Kansas City’s historical significance. Within these walls, you can:

<li>Witness a young Walt Disney, once a resident of KC, in action behind the camera</li>
<li>Observe Ernest Hemingway coming to the aid of a man in distress</li>
<li>Experience the 1933 Kansas City Massacre from two distinct perspectives</li>
<li>See Missouri's own Harry S. Truman addressing reporters on his campaign trail</li>
</ul>

These are just a glimpse of the 10 individualized stories through which Living History transports you, overlaying the present surroundings with historical videos that bring each moment to life.

Capture unfolding scenes and share your journey with others via your social networks, allowing them to be part of the experience even from afar. Imagine snapping a picture with Disney or being among the crowd as Hemingway exudes his larger-than-life presence.

Please note: To initiate the app’s augmented reality features, users must physically be at Union Station Kansas City. Markers within Union Station will guide users to the ideal viewing spots for an optimal experience. Make sure your iPhone has Bluetooth LE enabled.
